Services

The Women’s Centre of Hamilton is a central community hub that supports women who have or are experiencing gender-based violence, abuse, systemic barriers and discrimination, survivors of human trafficking, or struggling with challenges in their life.

We offer several services in-person, online, or over the phone, including general counselling, specialized counselling for experiences of violence and abuse, housing and employment support, legal advocacy, groups, and peer support.

All services are free, confidential, and non-judgemental. We work with interpreters to ensure that language is not a barrier in accessing support. The centre provides a safe starting point for women to increase their safety, reduce lethality risk, reduce isolation, and connect to our services or other community resources.
