Our Transitional Housing Support Worker (TSW) assists women with seeking safe and affordable housing, submitting housing applications, connecting to current housing services such as Access to Housing, Housing Help Centre, and second stage housing options. They also assist in obtaining financial assistance, remaining housed, and provide risk assessment, safety planning, brief counselling, system navigation, and referrals to community programs and services.
Our TSW meets with women where they are safest including in-office, shelter, or in the community. For women considering leaving or who have left and are living in shelter or community, our TSW provides support along your journey and prioritizes your safety needs each step of the way.
