Peer Support volunteers offer free, non-judgemental, and ongoing support to women who are interested in meeting with someone who has lived experience. Peer Support volunteers can provide additional tips, strategies, and emotional support alongside engagement in other services. Their supports are confidential and prioritize meeting you where you are. They provide services in-person and at a distance and create a collaborative, welcoming, and authentic space for you to work on your goals.
Our Peer Support volunteers also facilitate groups and create spaces to connect, share, and debrief about experiences of abuse and gender-based violence, and more.
To connect with a Peer Support volunteer, please call our Peer Support Coordinator to make a referral. 905-522-0127 ext. 214.
