Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre

The Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre is a program of Interval House of Hamilton and is located in Waterdown, Ontario. The Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre provides services to the Flamborough region and to women living rurally who require general counselling supports and services or for experiences of abuse, gender-based violence, human trafficking, and homelessness.

The Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre offers free individual and group counselling, legal advocacy, financial, housing and employment support, and information and referrals. Services are offered in-person or at a distance via telephone or virtually.

We acknowledge that the experience of women living rurally is different than women living in more urban areas. The Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre seeks to bridge a gap for women in their access to services that are also specialized in supporting women who are experiencing violence and abuse. The counsellors at the resource centre provide non-judgemental and confidential services that are wrap-around, client-centred, and trauma-informed.
